Australia should be your first choice for a holiday. We have white sandy beaches and plenty of clean, modern, cosmopolitan cities, jungles and national parks, the biggest attraction of the marine world and an equal number of marine parks and large tracts of Outback to explore. Not to mention our time! The best part of your holiday in Australia for the residents of the Northern Hemisphere is our climate. Basically, when the northern hemisphere is in the grip of winter, Australia is enjoying the summer sun. By contrast, when the northern hemisphere is entering in the fall or the fall, Australia is blooming in spring. Even if you plan to visit Australia out in the colder months, our temperatures are much milder than the northern hemisphere, with snow restricted to certain areas of the Alps. Sydney is the capital of New South Wales (Australia's oldest state) and is Australia's most cosmopolitan city, situated on the spectacular Sydney Harbor. Housing is available in the finest 5-star hotels, to hostels for backpackers. For many visitors to Australia, his first port of call is in Sydney with its busy international airport. If you're anything like me after a long international flight, then the first thing you want to do once the office is the boss of the hotel. Sydney Airport is linked to the city for custom cabs, limousines and buses (many of which are free and run by the best hotels), but they are a bit more adventurous, then you might also try the metropolitan rail system has a station in the domestic and international terminals of Sydney Airport. My recommendation is to ask the day rail pass also allows you to travel on the famous ferry network port and the railway network. When I travel to Sydney, I usually dump my bags at the hotel and go straight to the ferry terminal (there is also a railway station there) and catch the ferry to Manly. This not only lets you see the most famous attractions in the city (the Sydney Opera House and Harbor Bridge), but also get up close and personal with the beautiful port of Sydney itself. Once on the Manly ferry terminal is just a short walk from side to side navigation of the port for a bath on the beach at Manly Surf. If you're hungry there are plenty of restaurants there. It really is a great place to relax after a long flight, and if you like eating and drinking outdoors, you'll love the options available to you. If you are on a trip to visit Sydney, the best place to start is, of course, the Sydney Opera House. Really worth it to enter one of the regular tours. Similarly, the other eye of historical catch of Sydney, the Sydney Harbor Bridge, also runs tours that take you climbing to the top of the bridge. If emotion is your game, then watch out for Luna Park, which is the port side and a fantastic amusement park with a huge Ferris wheel, located on the north side of the harbor, just west the bridge. The central city is full of shops, parks, restaurants and historic buildings, and well worth a spin. Another great way to get around Sydney is the recirculation system, which takes place at Darling Harbor. Sydney's Darling Harbor is a new entertainment district that encompasses a large number of shops, restaurants and other facilities in a spectacular landscape. There is a spectacular aquarium, maritime museum and many other attractions. Sydney has many beaches and great attractions to see and this is easily within reach of the city by train or car. There are also trips a day of many that you can take – the rail system extends all the way to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.
